Reading Dens

This week students did a marvelous job creating cozy spaces to curl up with a good book and get into "the reading zone" (this is when you are so into your book that you barely notice anything else - you might not even hear a parent call you to dinner!).  Reading dens like this give kids a space to read in comfort and (ideally) with fewer distractions. It is important that all of our students do daily reading to keep their skills up, engage their imaginations, and for the joy of it!
