Gods and Goddesses of the 1-2s!
This week, we introduced the kids to the gods and goddesses of Olympus through read alouds and a slideshow. These amazing mythological figures held a lot of sway over the life of the Ancient Greeks. Each held their own sphere of influence over natural phenomena, human affairs as well as their emotions. Despite their divine powers, they had very human personalities with the potential for great kindness and mercy as well as jealousy, rage and petty squabbles amongst themselves.
