For the Birds!

This week, as part of our "virtual 1-2" classroom experience, kids were invited to create a one page bird graphic story! We had many takers whose work you see below. It was fun to see the range of characters and storylines as well as the cute and cartoonish illustrations. We also had a student submit pictures of his paper bird art as well as another student who submitted a picture of a cardinal visitor!

It has been enjoyable to take up our bird exploration again! As spring is upon us, many kids are reporting seeing more of our feathered friends returning from their southern migrations. Keep looking to see their plumage brighten up for mating season and listen for their birdsongs!
