Ancient Greek Research Projects!

Students were asked to research a part of Ancient Greece history or culture that they were interested in knowing more about. The range of topics included Ancient Greek foods, families, schooling, homes, clothing, Olympic games, mythological characters, soldiers and armor.

Using this research, the kids created a visual project or presentation to share what they had learned in their small groups. There were lots of very creative, fun and interesting projects. Some kids created a Google slideshow, others constructed a model or diorama. Some children prepared a Greek meal or made a Greek outfit or full soldier armor and gear.  There were posters, chalk art, black figure pottery, and even interviews!
