Thank you all for coming to Portfolio Day to celebrate your child's work over this year! All of the students have grown so much in their academic learning and their social maturity. We, like you, are so proud of all their efforts and achievements! Taking this time to reflect on the changes in their abilities and understandings is important to your child being able to recognize the power they have to set goals and do the work to achieve them.
Thank you also for all those who were able to come cheer us on in our Field Day events. This year, the kids' hard work as developing collaborators really paid off. They came together as a team for each event and gave their all in some tough tug-of-war competitions. It was great to hear the students noticing how well they supported each other with positive encouragement and good sportsmanship. Their cheers went out not just to the 1-2 teams, but to the other classes competing.
