There is nothing quite like the first snow of winter to really energize the playful spirit in all of us and just make you glad to be outdoors! As this is predicted to be the eighth warmest winter on record, we don't know how many opportunities we will have to enjoy snow so we made the most of this week's fluffy flakes. While we initially worried that this would be a mere dusting, the thin layer of snowfall was just the right sticky consistency. Kids enjoyed rolling balls of all sizes for their snow people, others made beautiful (though shallow) snow angels, and many a good natured snowball hit its target.
