This week we were getting back into shape with math! Kids were exploring new and familiar materials they will be using to further their math learning and skills and building a "safe" math community that supports risk-taking and learning from mistakes. A community that encourages open sharing of ideas and learning from others. We hope to cultivate a love of mathematical inquiry that powers them through some of the trickier problem solving situations and supports their grit to see it through to the end!
